Canceling or Pausing Your Subscription
We're sorry to see you go! Here's everything you need to know about canceling or pausing your FlouState Pro subscription.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

Sign In
Go to floustate.com and sign in

Open Settings
Click your profile menu → "Manage Subscription"

Cancel Subscription
Click "Cancel Subscription" button

Confirm Cancellation
Select reason (optional) and confirm
Alternative: You can also cancel through Stripe's customer portal by clicking "Manage in Stripe" from your subscription settings.
What Happens When You Cancel
Access Until End of Period
You keep Pro features until your current billing period ends. No immediate cutoff!
Your Data is Safe
All your data remains in your account. You can still access your last 7 days of focus history on the free tier.
Export Your Data
Download your full history before cancellation ends. Free users can only export their last 7 days.
No More Charges
Billing stops immediately. You won't be charged again unless you resubscribe.
Consider Pausing Instead
Taking a Break? Pause Your Subscription
If you're just taking time off, consider pausing instead of canceling:
- • Pause for 1-3 months
- • Keep your Pro price locked in
- • All data and settings preserved
- • Resume anytime with one click

After Cancellation
Free Tier Features
After your Pro subscription ends, you'll have access to:
- Last 7 days of focus history (after trial ends)
- Automatic focus tracking
- VS Code extension (full features)
- Work type breakdown (locked after trial)
- No access to older history
- No AI insights or advanced analytics
Coming Back?
Changed your mind? You can resubscribe anytime:
- • All your historical data will be restored
- • Pick up right where you left off
- • Same simple pricing
- • Instant reactivation
Just click any upgrade button in the app to resubscribe.
Important Notes
- • No refunds for partial months (you keep access)
- • Export your data before Pro access ends
- • Email confirmations sent for all changes
- • Account deletion is separate from cancellation
